Steve Alldredge, Related WestPac Director of Community Relations

Related WestPac today announced that Steve Alldredge has been named Director of Community Relations. Steve will be based in Snowmass Village and will work on Related WestPac’s development projects in Snowmass Village and the Roaring Fork Valley.
“Working with the community is very important to us, and we are pleased to have someone with Steve’s experience and reputation in the community in this critical role,” said Related WestPac President Pat Smith.
As the Director of Community Relations, Alldredge will work closely with the Development team, help further develop and implement a community communication program including the Rumors newsletter, serve as a liaison to community boards and organizations as well as community leaders and local elected officials, conduct community forums and manage local press relations in collaboration with Related WestPac communications and marketing teams.
Alldredge has worked in the communications field for 30 years. As the former associate editor of the Snowmass Sun, he reported on the acquisition of base village and the three commercial nodes and the formation of the Related WestPac partnership to develop Snowmass. Alldredge was awarded two Colorado Press Awards for his writing at the Snowmass Sun.
Since moving to the Roaring Fork Valley in 1991, Alldredge has been the owner/president of Brush Creek Media, a multi-service communications company that has been active in the areas of arts and culture, wellness, resort marketing and real estate. In addition to newspaper reporting and magazine writing, Alldredge is also credited as a screenwriter of two motion pictures, and he has been a consultant on a documentary about wilderness activists.
Alldredge is the former executive director of the Aspen Writers’ Foundation, a former board member of Leadership Aspen and the former president of the board of directors of Aspen Film. Currently, he serves on the board of directors of the Snowmass Village-based nonprofit organization Grassroots Asia.
