Oscar-winning director Alex Gibney (Taxi to the Dark Side, Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room) focuses on the good doctor’s heyday - from 1965 to 1975. Including clips of home movies and audiotapes and passages from unpublished manuscripts (narrated by Johnny Depp), Gonzo is a three-dimensional portrait that reveals what a unique talent our Woody Creek neighbor was.
