ACES Ed Update

ACES Ed is off to an amazing start to the 2014-15 school year! With an expanded staff of 9 full-time Educators, we look forward to our second year teaching full-time environmental science at Crystal River Elementary, our third year at Basalt Elementary, and over 35 years with the A1spen School District!

Our new education staff brings a strong and diverse background, with many Educators holding either teaching licenses, Masters degrees in education, or Spanish language fluency. Check out the bios of our team here.

This August we also launched a new partnership with Western State University, enabling ACES Educators to pursue a Masters degree program during their employment at ACES. Jay Slater is the first Educator to enroll in this professional development opportunity which we are thrilled to be able to offer our staff.

With field programs at the Maroon Bells, Hallam Lake, and Rock Bottom Ranch all starting in the coming weeks, ACES Ed looks forward to 2014-15 as our best year yet.
