The Challenge Aspen program offers a schedule of adaptive ski and snowboard programs making snow sports more accessible to everyone. Programs cater to novice and advanced participants. PSIA Certified Instructors ensure that safety is a priority and take pride in the quality of the Challenge Aspen ski & snowboard series.

CAMPS AND CLINICS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

Nov 30 – Dec 3 Competition Training Camp I - Open enrollment camp for new and experienced skiers with disabilities to introduce them to race techniques and tactics. Contact Kevin@challengeaspen.com

December 7-13 Tennessee School for the Blind Camp – 11 senior students from Tennessee join CA for their seventh year to learn to ski.

December 11–15 Competition Training Camp II – Open enrollment camp for new and experienced skiers with disabilities to introduce them to race techniques and tactics. Contact Kevin@challengeaspen.com

December 26-30 Competition Training Camp III - Open enrollment camp for new and experienced skiers with disabilities to introduce them to race techniques and tactics. Contact Kevin@challengeaspen.com

January 4-11 Intermediate & Advanced Mono-ski Camp - Open enrollment camp for individuals who are independent mono-skiers; including seating clinic, racing, and video analysis.

January 18-23 Learn to Mono-ski Camp - Open enrollment camp for never-ever and beginner sit skiers who desire to become independent mono-skiers.

January 23-28 Florida School for the Blind Camp - 4 skiers with visual impairments from Florida will visit us this winter to ski with Challenge Aspen guides.

January 24-29
Winter X-Games Extravaganza for Veterans – A group of veterans will be guests of honor at the 13th Winter X Games, and participate in skiing, snowboarding and snowmobiling.

February 1-6 Shepherd Center Camp - 8 adaptive skiers come from the renowned Shepherd Rehabilitation Center in Atlanta to ski four days.

February 4-8 Veteran’s Hut Trip - 6 newly injured soldiers will travel into the Wilderness to Margy’s hut in the White River National Forest for 3 days, plus partake in adaptive ski and snowboard lessons.

February 9-15 Visually Impaired Ski & Snowboard Festival - Open enrollment camp for all levels of skiers & boarders with visual impairments.

February 23-27 Competition Training Camp IV - Open enrollment camp for new and experienced skiers with disabilities to introduce them to race techniques and tactics. Contact Kevin@challengeaspen.com

Feb 27–Mar 1 The Children’s Hospital Immunodeficiency Program of Denver Camp - These participants will learn to snowboard and will be there to cheer on the One for the Heart Uphill Race entrants.

March Via Christi Rehabilitation Hospital, Wichita, KS – 2 groups join us for two ski trips, bringing new & return skiers to Aspen/Snowmass for recreational healing.

LEARN TO SKI / SNOWBOARD FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

All levels of recreational skiing and snowboarding instruction for individuals ages 4+ who have a physical or cognitive disability. All Challenge Aspen pros are P.S.I.A. certified in adaptive instruction, and adaptive equipment is used to accommodate all needs. Lessons include one-on-one instruction, lift ticket and rental equipment:
