Rocky Mountain summers are spectacular, and when the snow melts, Challenge Aspen pulls out the fishing poles, rafts and golf clubs to offer everything from award winning gold medal rivers for fly fishing and rafting to horseback riding, hiking, biking, golf, kayaking, hand cycling or rock climbing.

Challenge Aspen has created summer camps for the music, dance and art enthusiast or the outdoor adventurer in your family.

June TBD - Denver Children’s Hospital Summer Adventure of white-water rafting, horseback riding and teambuilding activities with endless fun in the mountains!

June 23 -27 - Exceptional Artists Studio – experience the creativity and joy of hand-crafted art, combined with Rocky Mountain outdoor activities.

June 26 – 30 - Rocky Mountain Outdoor Adventure I for Wounded Warriors – a tailor-made mountain experience for newly injured soldiers and their families – activities include white-water rafting, fly- fishing and horseback riding.

July 7 – 11 - Outdoor Adventure Camp – an outdoor recreational camp in the Rocky Mountains for children with autism (ages 8-21). Participants will gain a sense of personal growth and self-empowerment by actively participating in fun, supervised and structured activities focused on group recreation, communication, life skills and safety.

July 21 – 25 - The Magic of Music and Dance Camp – explore the wonder of creative movement, self-expression and musical creation. Fun outdoor activities such as rafting and western BBQ ho-downs in the afternoons!

July 29 - August 1 - Just for Teens Camp – a camp specifically designed to provide a combination of adventure, life- skills, relationship and team-building in a safe, fun and exciting, experiential based environment.

July 31 - August 5 - Rocky Mountain Outdoor Adventure II for Wounded Warriors -a tailor made mountain experience for newly injured soldiers and their families – activities to include white-water rafting, fly-fishing and horseback riding.

August 17 – 23 - Aspen Wilderness Experience -a program for newly injured soldiers form Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Brook Army Medical Center – activities include rock-climbing, camping and white- water rafting.

September 7 – 12 - Rocky Mountain Expedition for Wounded Warriors (with Traumatic Brain Injuries) – a week-long camp specifically designed to meet the needs of this population. Activities include equine-therapy, visits to the Hot Springs, rafting and fishing.
