Arts in Aspen-Paintings in Glass by Roger Thomas
December 9, 2007
PISMO Gallery at Aspen, Aspen’s foremost gallery for glass art, will present a solo exhibition, “New Destinations”, of kilnformed glass paintings by artist Roger Thomas. The show will open with an artist reception on December 27th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm and will continue through January 17, 2008.
A stained glass artist in the early 1970s, Roger Thomas began experimenting with fused glass in 1984. Glass fusing or kilnformed glass is a process in which individual pieces of glass are melted together to form larger, designed pieces.
