Early Season Golf Passes – On Sale NOW!

If you plan on golfing in Aspen Colorado this year you should consider getting your pass before April 1st and save! It is that time of year again already. Season and Punch passes at the Aspen Golf Club are now on SALE at the Red Brick Recreation Center Monday to Friday and at the Aspen Recreation Center 7 days a week. For details call 970-920-5140.

Local Season & Punch Pass Prices for 2008

Early Discount: $1,000 Purchased by April 1st.

Regular Season: $1,200 Purchased after April 1st.

Punch Pass - Early Discount: $475 By April 1st.

Regular Season: $525 After April 1st.

If you purchased a punch pass and would like to upgrade to a season pass, your upgrade price will be the difference between the price at which you purchased your punch pass and the current price of the season pass.

The Ice Garden has a single surface (85′ x 185′) which has been referred to by many figure and hockey skaters alike as one of the best maintained surfaces in the region. Lewis Ice Arena

This skating facility includes an NHL regulation size ice surface (85′ x 200′), grandstand seating for 450, and a comfortable lobby. A skate shop offers precision sharpening and skate rentals. There are multiple team locker and shower rooms equipped for full ADA accessibility. Located at 0861 Maroon Creek Road in Aspen call (970) 544-4117 for additional skating details. [MAP]

Cross Country Ski Tours and Lessons-Aspen Snowmass Colorado

Backcountry ski tour from Snowmass to ButtermilkAspen Highlands’ Ski Pros Ron Rash and Tim Shortell purchased Aspen Alpine Guides this past summer. Both have guided for A.A.G. for many years and are now excited about their new roles as guide/owners.

Starting this winter A.A.G. will be offering a backcountry ski tour from Snowmass to Buttermilk. The tour starts from the summit of Burnt Mountain, descends 3,000 feet in seven miles, and finishes at the base of Buttermilk Ski area. The route includes a mild descent of the eastern ridge of Burnt Mountain, the open terrain of the Sugar Bowls, and a gentle slope through aspen glades to the Government Trail. This is a challenging tour with a short amount of uphill travel. The emphasis is on enjoying the serenity of the backcountry. It is not recommended for those primarily interested in making turns.
