Every year, Aspen, Colorado becomes the focal point for World Cup enthusiasts. This is because the Aspen Winternationals are held in Aspen, Colorado. People from all over the world descend on the Colorado city to see some of their favorite winter sports take place. There are always a great turn out, and the two day festival calls upon some of the greatest female Slalom skiers in the world. Such skiers that many will come to cheer on are Lindsay Kildow, Resi Steigler and Stacey Cook. The competitions are hot and fierce in the cold winter air, and yet, the fans still show up in droves to support their favorite players. This is the only time in the US that the World Cup Slalom players will be available for cheering on, which is why it has become such a popular sporting event.

News affiliations from all around the world also fall upon Aspen to air some of the greatest World Cup competitors that have ever been shown. This year’s Aspen Winternational will take place at the beginning of December, from December 7-9. Those that can not attend the Aspen Winternational can expect to watch its coverage on NBC. Aspen Winternational is sure to transform the town of Aspen into a World Cup extravaganza, as it has in years before. Thanks to great skiing locations such as Aspen, Colorado, these experiences can be shared with all of those that are looking for a chance to meet their favorite World Cup players.
