Aspen Show Tickets
September 24, 2007
The Wheeler Opera House has renamed the box office operation to reflect it’s new role as the chief supplier of box office ticket services for events and shows throughout Roaring Fork Valley. The new name for the box office is now Aspen Show Tickets and also features a new website, www.aspenshowtickets.com, which is separate from the Wheeler Opera House website completely. Tickets for events at the Wheeler are also available at the site as well as for tickets for other events located throughout the area.
The shift to the box office name change is one of a few changes that have been made to the Wheeler box office in the last two years. Including new, custom-designed, ticketing software that allows web purchasing of tickets far more user-friendly.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
THE WHEELER OPERA HOUSE BOX OFFICE IS NOW ASPEN SHOW TICKETS
The Wheeler Opera House today announced that it is renaming its box office operation, in order to better reflect its emergence as chief supplier of box office ticketing services for shows and events all across the Roaring Fork Valley.
“One of our potential user groups brought to our attention that we now sell as many tickets for events happening elsewhere around Aspen and all the way to Carbondale, and that maybe we should consider taking the ‘Wheeler’ out of our box office name to reflect that,” said Wheeler Executive Director Gram Slaton. “I have to admit that it took us aback at first, but it’s true. Our new name will be more embracing of the total universe of clients we serve – and have yet to attract.”
The new name for the Wheeler’s box office will be Aspen Show Tickets, and will also feature a new ticketing website, www.aspenshowtickets.com, that will be wholly separate from the Wheeler’s website. “Patrons who go to our site for information about shows at the Wheeler will still be able to buy through our site,” said Slaton, “and they’ll also be able to purchase Wheeler tickets through the Aspen Show Tickets site. Tickets for events at other venues will be available for purchase through Aspen Show Tickets only. We’ll keep a patch on the Wheeler site for a time, as everyone works through the transition period, but the idea is that guests coming to Aspen throughout the year and looking to see what might be going on during their stay can more easily browse the web and find out all the great entertainment we have going on, twelve months of the year.”
The shift to Aspen Show Tickets is only one of a handful of changes that have come to the Wheeler box office in the past two years. Perhaps the most noteworthy for Wheeler customers has been a new, custom-designed ticketing software that was added a year ago, making web purchasing far more user-friendly. “Technology is bringing sweeping changes to how ticketing is being done now,” said Slaton, “and our software can easily integrate these changes for our Aspen and Roaring Fork Valley audiences. We hope to roll out more services throughout the coming year for even greater customer satisfaction.”

Got something to say?

I’ve called and been referred to http://www.aspenshowtickets.com. At this web site I had hoped to purchase one ticket for myself to July 20th or 21st film Dalai Lama Renaissance. For the life of me I can’t find Paepcke films listed, nor can I find a place to pay in advance for the film I can’t find. Can you help me, please?
