Aspen Parks & Recreation is Going GREEN By Going Online

The Aspen Parks & Recreation Department is pleased to announce that they are going GREEN by offering online registration that will provide patrons a quick and easy way to search and view classes and programs online, and to register without ever having to leave home!

Benefits of creating an online account include the ability to register for classes for yourself and other family members, view the number of available spaces, reserve facilities, renew your membership, view your calendar, update your account, print receipts, ability to see “at a glance” where you need to be and when, and much more from the comfort of your own home.

In addition, the system will eventually be able to provide members with self check-in at the recreation facilities, therefore improving wait time and overall flow.

To introduce customers to this new and easy online registration process, the Parks & Recreation Department is holding a contest with great prizes like ski clinics, private ski lessons, Parks & Recreation gift certificates and a variety of $100 and $50 gift certificates. To enter into the contest all customers have to do is create an online family account. The contest will end at midnight on October 31st and the winners will be announced November 15th.

In order to register online, customers will need to create a free account by visiting www.aspenrecreation.com beginning October 6th. A valid email address is needed to do this. Once an account and family members are established a new “Fun Pass” may be picked up at the Aspen Recreation Center or Red Brick Recreation Center. Beginning on November 1st, the new Fun Pass will replace any/all of the former passes provided by the Aspen Parks & Recreation Department.

If Internet access is not available, please use a public computer located either at the Public Library, the Aspen Recreation Center or the Red Brick Recreation Center. For more information or questions call us at (970) 544-4100 or (970) 920-5140.
