It’s time to leave the boys at home for Girls Night at the Red Brick Climbing gym (110 E. Hallam Street, Suite 135) every Monday night from 6pm to 9pm. Start with a warm-up/stretch/yoga and then climb & slackline until 9:00pm with the ladies! Show up anytime. First time ladies are free with paying friend, or $7.50 single admission.

Scuba & Water Polo

Always wanted to try SCUBA diving or water polo? Now here’s your chance. The Aspen Parks & Recreation Department would like to invite you to come on out and drop in for a game of water polo or try out that SCUBA driving you’ve always wanted to try.
Water polo is coed and drop in is on Thursdays from 7:30- close. Cost is entrance plus 3 dollars.
Scuba Sundays are from 6pm to close.
SCUBA skills update/review(for certified divers)
If it’s been a while since your last dive you should consider an update class. We jump into the pool and review all of those sometimes rusty, but very important SCUBA skills required for safe and comfortable diving. We practice all the techniques you learned in your certification course. You feel more prepared for your next dive vacation after this class.
Duration 2hrs.
Equipment: rent/ own buoyancy compensator, regulator, gauges and air cylinder or demo new equipment.
Own: mask, snorkel & fins.
Professional PADI instruction.
Cost $75 /pp.
Discover SCUBA Class
If you’ve always wanted to try SCUBA diving, now is your chance. The discover SCUBA is a program designed to let anyone over the age of 8 years old to try SCUBA diving before signing up for a class. This gives you the opportunity to get into the pool with SCUBA gear, learn some basic skills and the use of the equipment and blow bubbles underwater. A majority of the time will be spent in the water, there will be a short orientation before the pool dive.
Duration 1 ½ - 2hrs.
Equipment: rent buoyancy compensator, regulator, gauges and air cylinder, mask, snorkel fins.
Professional PADI instruction.
Cost $35 /pp.
SASY Program
The Supplied Air Snorkeling for Youth is for those from 5-10 years old who would like to blow bubbles just like the adults, but are too young for SCUBA. Designed to use different techniques to comfortable snorkel at the surface of the water. Children will get an opportunity to learn and practice in the SASY units as well a traditional snorkeling techniques. The SASY unit is very similar to the buoyancy compensator, regulator, and air cylinder worn by SCUBA divers with the difference being that the unit is smaller and has substantial foam floatation which prevents the case of submerging.
Duration 1 ½ – 2hrs.
Use of mask, snorkel fins, if child has personal equipment they are comfortable with we encourage them to bring it.
Equipment: use of SASY unit.
Professional PADI instruction.
Cost $35 /pp.
Note: Parents/ guardians must sign a liability waiver.

Gray Line Offers Ground Transportation to Aspen

Aspen/Snowmass, the world’s leading resort destination and Gray Line, the world’s largest sightseeing, transportation and activity company have teamed up to provide the first luxury ground transportation service to the four mountains of Aspen and Snowmass. The new year-round operation will feature conveniently scheduled nonstop, luxury motorcoach service from the Denver International Airport. In addition to VIP checkin at Gray Line’s concierge facility at DIA, guests will enjoy guaranteed window/aisle seating, GPS tracking, on-board entertainment and customized amenities. Gray Line’s DIA operation will be supplemented by point-to-point service from Eagle County Regional Airport and the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport to the guest’s final resort accommodations.
As the Official Ground Transportation Partner of Aspen/Snowmass, Gray Line will provide meet and greet services as part of the VIP experience the moment guests land at DIA. Gray Line’s service will also include a night coach to ensure same-day resort arrivals for guests arriving late into Denver.
The new service will commence on November 14, 2008, and grow to up to six departures each day during the peak ski season. The off-peak and summer season schedule will offer departures tailored to demand. After arriving in Aspen by motorcoach, guests will have the option of continuing directly to their resort accommodations via a dedicated fleet of mini-buses and/or vans.
