This 25 acre nature preserve, right in the heart of downtown Aspen, has a classroom with audio visual capabilities and an outside patio. Book the classroom or combine it with one of their popular naturalist programs. They will show you the natural wonders of the Rocky Mountains while skiing, snowshoeing or hiking with one of their naturalist guides. In winter, daily snowshoe tours are conducted from the top of Aspen and Snowmass Mountains, and at Ashcroft Ski Touring Center. Free downhill skiing tours are offered at Snowmass. Snowshoe walks and bird watching can be enjoyed at the nature preserve. Evening programs include the Potbelly Perspective Lecture Series and Naturalist Nights. In summer, participate in naturalist-guided tours on Aspen Mountain, at Snowmass, and up the Castle Creek valley at Ashcroft. The Gallery: We host 15 exhibits per year of local artists in the Gallery, making this separate room a unique environment for a private gathering. Also available is a large-format screen with audio visual capabilities. Great for family reunion movies, conferences, classes, Powerpoint presentations.
The Living Room: The heart of our 1940's log cabin, a river stone fireplace is the centerpiece of your private gathering. Hardwood floors, beamed ceiling, and original pine paneling make the Center cozy and ready for your own personal touches.
