Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park will kick off its spring hours on Thurs., Mar. 11. The Adventure Park will be open 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The best value for enjoying the Adventure Park right now is with the Winter Fun Pass, which is available through April 30.

This popular eight-week series is entering its seventh year at the largest of the four area mountains, Snowmass. It has become a mainstay and weekly favorite for the best snowboarders and skiers in the state of Colorado. Each week they gather to perform the latest tricks for a chance at a weekly prize purse and series points on the busy Fanny Hill/Snowmass Mall intersection. Judges will choose four skiers and four snowboarders from the jam session to continue on to the finals. The finalists will have one jump and then be placed according to best trick. Registration 12:30 - 1:45pm on Fanny Hill next to the jump. $20 entry fee; All minors must bring a signed waiver; Practice 1:00-1:45pm; Competition 2-3pm. Mt. Sopris Montessori School will host an Open House on Friday, March 12 beginning at 10:00 am. Parents will get a tour of both Toddler and Pre-school classes while in action, have time for questions with faculty and current student parents about the Montessori education process, enjoy refreshments and have a chance to observe the sweet lunchtime sharing process with the students. This exhibition features the work of Scott Chamberlin, Kim Dickey and Jeanne Quinn, art professors at the University of Colorado at Boulder, who sculpt clay into biomorphic forms that act as explorers and participants in the space creating an alternate environment of pure imagination.
